How to say it - /ð/ & /θ/ sounds
Introduction to /θ/
It is also very hard to record the /θ/ sound, so when you click this button you will hear the word 'thin', which starts with /θ/.
Make the /θ/ sound by putting the tip of your tongue between your front teeth and blowing air out over your tongue. Do not use your voice. If this is difficult, try saying 't' very slowly.
You can remember the shape of this character by thinking that it looks like a zero with a line through it. /θ/ has zero 'voice', and the line represents the tongue between the teeth.
