REFLECTION

The bonding between beasts and human fascinates me. What better setting to write a story about it than the prehistorical times? While this was written as an assignment for good grades (not gonna lie here), I had a ton of fun doing research about extinct beasts and ancient hunting techniques. This story is also greatly influenced by the video game Far Cry Primal by Ubisoft, in which players tame beasts and fight alongside them, or hunt them to use their carcasses as crafting materials for better bows and pouches. While I like to assume readers are smart, editing this story with the editors revealed many flaws which I never found when reading it by myself. This fun experience made me a more balanced writer in my personal projects.
