Example 1

What would I do if I won 10 million dollars on the Mark 6 lottery? Well, that's kind of a hard question. Actually, it's not hard at all. I would definitely go travelling. I would love to spend about six months not working, just travelling around the world and seeing places I haven’t seen yet. Actually I've visited quite a few places already in Asia, so I'd really like to go to Australia or Europe for a few months; either of those places. I’ve never been to those places, but because I've been in Hong Kong for some time now, I’ve managed to meet people who are based in both of those places; I could go and visit them. With some more of the money, I might look for a flat or a little house and maybe put down a deposit or consider buying one, instead of renting all the time. I'd give some money away too; a few presents to friends, maybe about, and $10,000 to family too, so that they could enjoy themselves a little bit too, and finally, I think I'd also donate some money to charity ... My favourite charities at the moment are, OK, Amnesty International, which works to prevent political injustice; then there’s Oxfam, which works in developing countries, mainly with children, and to prevent hunger, and Orbis, which provides money for eye operations in developing countries. So I'd give money to charity, but that would all depend on how much money I spent on my travels!
