REFLECTION
I chose this essay topic for GEC-1C28W Contemporary Chinese & Western Art and Cultural Interactions as the cultural background of the artist was familiar and his artwork was quite provoking. It was challenging to find different views on the artist and his artwork. My CAR teacher Dr. Fok approved of the topic I chose, and provided me with guidance. My ELC teacher Mr. Lo helped to improve my essay and recommended me to submit it for publication in Inscribe. I am thankful for the assistance from all teachers and editors.
The Inscribe editors were very helpful during the publishing process and it is my pleasure to collaborate with them. The themes and topic of this essay are entirely different from my major of study; the writing and research process broadened my view.
