About Inscribe
Inscribe: A Journal of Undergraduate Writing in Asia is a refereed electronic journal showcasing writing by undergraduate students across all disciplines at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). Launched to support the University’s emphasis on communication, Inscribe cultivates a vibrant community of writers. By publishing polished, professional work in various genres, the journal offers students a hands-on publishing experience to develop their writing, research, artistic, and editorial skills.
Submissions are welcomed year-round. After an initial guideline check, selected papers undergo a collaborative review and editing process, which includes reflective tutorial meetings between the student author and a journal editor. Through this developmental journey, students are empowered to become independent in their academic, written, and creative works.
As an open-access platform, Inscribe encourages intellectual discussion on student work, building a collaborative knowledge base within the University and the wider community.
Inscribe is hosted and supported by the English Language Centre of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
