We are now inviting proposals on a range of topics that relate to the Conference theme, English Across the Curriculum, and the following themes:
a. Content and Language Integrated Learning
b. English in the discipline
c. Writing/Speaking/Communication Across the Curriculum
d. Engaging staff and students in the discipline
e. Evaluating the impact of English Across the Curriculum
- Paper Presentation (20 minutes + 10 minutes Q&A)
- Colloquium (45 minutes + 15 minutes Q&A)
Submitting Abstracts
A 150-200 word abstract and a 50-word bio for each presenter should be submitted online by clicking the link at the bottom of this page. You will be taken to an online submission process, the first step of which is to sign up for a Conference Account.
Deadline for submission: 30 June 2015 (extended to 31 July 2015)
Selection Process
All submissions will undergo a double review and the first author of accepted submissions will be informed by 31 July 2015 (extended to 15 August 2015).
Equipment
Laptop computers will be available in every room, and audio and/or video equipment can also be arranged if it is requested on the proposal form. Equipment requests should be confirmed when presenters register for the conference (Presenters' deadline for registration: 31 August 2015).
Key Dates
- Closing date for receipt of abstracts is 30 June 2015 (extended to 31 July 2015).
- Presenters will be informed whether their proposal has been accepted by 31 July 2015 (extended to 15 August 2015).
- All presenters must register and pay for the conference by 31 August 2015.
- Abstracts submitted by participants who have not registered by 31 August 2015 will be removed from the programme.
