Report Introductions

This exercise is to help you to write an introduction to a report.

Language Point:
Be careful to use the right tenses and active or passive voice:

  • use present tense for the aim, purpose and contents of the report
  • use passive voice to avoid personal pronouns such as ' I '


  • Read the words in the following box.
  • When you have finished, click the 'Start Exercise' button. The words will disappear, and each letter will be replaced by an underline.
