The findings show that as the economy improves or deteriorates the number of graduates desiring to continue to further studies decreases and increases . This causes two main problems . Firstly , in economic downturns there are not enough places for post - graduate students . Secondly , students sometimes drop out of post - graduate courses if offered employment . In order to reduce graduate unemployment and provide more educational opportunities , the university can consider offering more flexible options for post - graduate study . |
