Since 2013, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s English Language Centre has hosted its longest running conference: The Writing Roundtable. Aiming to develop a community of academic, creative and scholarly writers in Hong Kong, the Writing Roundtable has since brought together English language teachers, litterateurs, researchers, publishers and students from and in Hong Kong (and, when occasion has called, across and beyond Asia) to discuss literacy and its sustainability across academic disciplines and through writing genres.
