Although the pedagogical basis of the CILL site is well rooted in accepted independent language learning theory, the site is little used. It is therefore recommended that development of the site be halted until a further justification for future development is found.

Mention of the CILL Internet site and its learner training and development opportunities should be included in the orientation procedure to avoid depriving the students of these opportunities.
