Colours and Objects

There are a number of ways in which colours can be described. The following exercise allows you to see how we associate colours with particular objects.

Using these combinations can help make your writing more interesting. For example, when describing clothing you could say, "He is wearing a butter yellow top", or "She has an olive green belt."
