Taffeta []
plain weave fabric, rib variation, made of acetate or silk yarn; has slight sheen and makes a rustling sound. Firm fabric.
  Terrycloth
pile weave, looped fabric with two sets of warps and one filling. As the filling is tightened, the warps loop.
  Tweed
rough surface woolen material woven with yarns of several colours to achieve patterns, checks or plaids. Originally associated with durable countrywear.
  Twill weave
strong compact weave identified by diagonal line on fabric. Warp face twill includes denim and gabardine.
Velour []
pile knit or woven fabric using terry construction and then cut to produce soft velvety surface.
  Velveteen []
pile fabric with extra set of filling yarn, uniformly cut. Normally made of cotton.
  Vinyl []
plastic with leather-like appearance used in handbags, wallets etc.
  Voile []
sheer, soft drapable fabric made of cotton, cotton blends or man-made fibres.

using longer, combed yarns which are tightly twisted. Fabric has less fuzzy, crisp appearance.
